With an easy draw early I'm seriously considering Bird in my team for early on next season. His first three games are against GWS, GC and NM. His scores against them in 2012 were -
v GWS - 127 & 38 (in a qtr, started as sub)
v GC - 80 (started as sub, on in Qtr 1)
v NM - 97

He's only young so should get better. My main concerns are he's the swans number 1 tagger and a vest candidate. If he could lift to just over 400k by RD 4 then i could easily swap him to a premo who has dropped a bit. e.g Buddy. Can anyone (especially swans supporters) give me some thoughts on him?? Is he likely to cop a vest early on??

Cheers Rico, yeh be careful he will tag and Swan's players generally dont score well in DT

yeah he's oviously not someone i was really looking at untill the fact that we now have two trades a week. Someone who has an easy draw early who can rise in price 50k and be quickly shipped off to a premium.
