Being minor premiers is overrated. Brisbane Lions have never finished first on the ladder, though they have won 3 grand finals.

From 2001-2011 Only 4 teams who have won the minor premiership won the grand final.

Doesn't worry me about minor premiership I just wanted to finish Top 2 to avoid playing in Sydney or Adelaide in first week of finals!

Doesn't matter where we play Sydney Adelaide Collingwood.....smash em anyway.  ;D

The Shoe is dominate and back!

I was a bit skeptic, along with alot of other people about his playing abilities, but i guess after getting dominated fro 40games, you learn a few tricks. <3

Some strange umpiring decisions... how was that decision on Reid NOT 50 metres! But plenty on both sides

Yeah, terrible umpiring, but i generally cut the umpires a bit of slack, it is not an easy job to do

Yeah i think my DT prelim was ruined as-well. But i will take a Hawks win over DT anyday

Same with the sickess for me but i stuck it out and boy were we all rewareded!
My fav win for the year but theres plenty of hardwork to come still have to win 4 games!

Lets just hope they dont lose focus. i dont think we will struggle as much against them at the MCG if we do play them again (which looks very likely). Now lets just hope WCE cop a few injuries, so we can rest a few players

flower em, they get cut enough slack, and more, for the decisions they flower up, it's time we got umpires more like the rugby refs, guys who back themselves to make the right call and give it to the players when they complain, you don't see them flowering up 1 out of every 2 decisions

Maybe if you talk back the umps should send you off for 10 minutes? Like they do in amateur footy. ;D
