QuoteBlease has joined a rare band of players to receive Rising Star nominations in two separate years, having earned a nomination in round 23 last year.

Congrats to the Rd 20 Rising Star nominee. ;D Pretty stoked myself.

Cicjose

It is possible for a player to be nominated in multiple years, as long as they still satisfy the age and games played qualification rules

In each year. So far nine players have been nominated twice.

Duncan Kellaway (Richmond) â€" 1993 / 1994
Craig Callaghan (Fremantle) â€" 1995 / 1996
Michael Braun (West Coast Eagles) â€" 1997 / 1998
Luke Power (Brisbane Lions) â€" 1998 / 1999
Nathan Jones (Melbourne) â€" 2006 / 2007
Mark LeCras (West Coast Eagles) â€" 2006 / 2007
Michael Hurley (Essendon) â€" 2009 / 2010
Jordan Gysberts (Melbourne) - 2010 / 2011
Sam Blease (Melbourne) - 2011 / 2012
