Screw them.  I'm all for hanging up your whistle, there is no point trying to 'help' people plays a social game.  Football these days (in amateur leagues) is just a way to legally get into a fight.  Stupid, and the reason I stopped playing.

I'd name and shame people through communications to the league, the club presidents and all the big wigs you could.  I would also contact the media - and try and get some money from an interview... mind as well utilise your experiences to their expense.

I'd also write a strongly worded letter post it to the clubs, and paste them all over the respective clubrooms.  Which would hopefully translate the significance of their actions.
