Would you want Chaplin at tigerland?

Richmond seem to be pretty interested in Ports Troy Chaplin. Apparently we have offerd him a 4 year contract and i personally would love to see Chaplin in tiger colours and will really help Grimes and Rance. What are your thoughts?

I hope you don't want him to do any manning up... He's no good at one vs one. If you want 'another' running defender with an alright kick, then sure get him. :)

Yer agree. Chris Mayne would be nice. He is a great kick for goal, never misses and puts a lot of fwd pressure on. But HIGHLY doubt Freo will give him up

What are your thoughts on Cloke to Richmond? I wouldn't mind him down fwd with Jroo but i dont think we will get him. The last 2 years we are after players who can improve our side while not giving much away such as Houli, Grigg, Maric and Morris and dont think we will be after the "Big Fish".

Would be a handy acquisition for the short term. Will make an immediate impact. But our backline has stood up and been our strength behind the mids. We lack quality up forward and i believe this is the area we need to work on badly over the off season. Chaplin would help us, but morris, grimes, griffiths, rance, newman and houli have been great this year and showed to me they can be a sensational back 6! The foundation for a finals backline is already there. Batchelor, moore, dea and Post waiting in the wings show the depth is already there.

Cloke would be nice but not worth the money hes asking IMO.
Yeah we have recruited really well in recent years for a change. Im happy for them to lock it away and get this group playing together year in year out like Geelong did. The list is there, just needs experience
