He is staying in, watch him come out and pump out 150 in the first week of finals! :)

Haha yeah probably! first week of finals my trade will be

A) Broughton > waters/birchall
B) dal santo > Mitchell/swan
C) mummy > Jacobs/cox
D) Martin > Franklin!
Have you got a million dollars in the bank? By the time finals come around those trades will be impossible to do.

obviously can't do them all as its only two trades per round :p wont be making any trades next two rounds, should win both league games, have money in the bank and 5 trades left. those potential players getting traded are weakest in all lines.

I would be surprised if Buddy was back in 3 weeks.  Saw him wednesday at a footy clinic and the guy could bearly walk, I rekon he will be out a lot longer than 3, but I will be holding him at this stage because trades are very low  :-[..

Mate, that's coz he'd been barreling all night.

It will only be 3 weeks.

Yeah Buddy can barely walk, just seen him on Fox Footy, he was strutting around like he is playing a game tonight.
He might just miss the Collingwood game, I am confident he will line up against the bombers, byy the time that Fri night encounter comes around Buddy would have completed his 3 weeks sidelined with the hammy injury.
But yeah if you say Buddy could barely walk a day ago, he has made a miraculous recovery in a day.

Surprise, surprise  :-*

Boy were we wrong to mock those that traded him out! Kudos to those that traded him out despite the consensus against it

No one was to know it would drag on so long though.
Glad I did pull the trigger though

Arrrrr Sorry champ, but read the last couple of pages.  After seeing him struggling to walk in person, I said it would be longer than just three weeks.  I effectively got laughed at and got negative feedback for my obversation......

barely walking is pretty symptomatic of, y'know, someone with a torn hamstring, which would usually take around 3 weeks to heal.

I f     i       type      it      slowly       will       it      help.   It      looked         worse     than     a      standard       hammy       so      thats      why     i       said      would      be      longer.  Surprise, surprise, I was right  ;).

Thats great news Bones.  Hopefully he will be back scoreing for my Supercoach team this week  8).

Buddy is yet another example of how there's no "rules" in supercoach. Least of all "never trade a premium unless LTI" what a load of crap. Who comes up with this? I've kept Pendles for 6 weeks when it would have been better to trade him to Watson (who I got later anyway) and then traded him back in as my final mid.

Now Buddy has been gone for 5 at the pointy end of the season and I wish I'd traded him to O'Keefe (who I got later as well) and then MAYBE get Buddy in on return.

Sure alot thought they would both be back sooner, but I had a feeling they wouldn't and should've listened to that.

All those people who traded Buddy and Pendles didn't listen to the "rule" and they're laughing at the rest of us now. Good on those people.

cambo, are you a physio? if not, i would argue that you have zero idea what you're talking about when it comes to determining the severity of a 3wk hamstring compared to a 5wk one.

so you were right, great, but with hamstrings you can't walk properly until you can. simple as that. as a point of reference i've done two, one short 3wk one and one where i missed 10wks after tearing it off the bone and stuffing up my rehab. you cant walk, then all of a sudden you can.
