3 trades... where to go?

Hey guys..
i have 3 trades left and have the week off.. so im thinking of getting rid of all 3 before next week (who wants to be knocked out with trades left)
i have a few things bothering me in my team.. i was initailly thinking
Zorko -> couch (treloar other cover, and kennedy in my mids)

next week
Treloar -> Danger/Sidey
Martin/Lewis -> Beams

BUT with franklin out I dont think he will come straight in for full games and hence probably not score big straight away so im thinking
this week
Franklin -> Danger
Zorko -> Sidey

Next week..
Wait for an injury/rest and make a sideways?

If I were you I would hold especially if you got the week-off...

Your upgrade/sideway trades may get rested/injured and you may need trades later...I would hold for now and then downgrade/upgrade to get the likes of Beams/Danger and keep the last trade for the finals..

make 2 next week and then 1 for cover for the grandy if you make it

This week should be a rest week. No trades.

Use both for prelim and the last for GF - assuming you get there!

Buddy is needed.

Beams seems a good target for you.

I agree, hold your trades for next week, use 2 then and keep the last for the Grandfinal. I got burnt last year doing what you want to do - used trades up prior to the grandfinal, then the general hit in the final round and i was left with donuts in the grand final. cost my the win in my main league and cost me a triple premiership (3 in a row for my big money league).

So use 2 next week, and leave at least one for the final. No discrace if you miss out with 1 trade left.

so the thing is deciding wether franklin will be able to score big from NEXT week onwards.. if he isnt i may as well sideways the last 3 trades as there is no point downgrading and upgrading one player...

if i can get rid of zorko for cash i will have unlimited options for next week wether i upgrade fwd/mid/back or even none at all
fwds in 2 weeks can either look like

F1: Buddy, Beams, Danger, Roughy, Boomer, Pav, Lewis/Martin (smedts, kennedy)... 0 trades
or
F2: Beams, Sidey, Zorko, roughy, pav, lewis, martin (smedts, Treloar) ..................... 1 trade no $$

what would we rather?
F1 seems stronger to me! and if somewhere else breaks down ie thommo gets rested i can upgrade him coz i have cash and get one of danger/beams

whilst I agree that it is silly to trade in a premo this week if you have the bye (as that premo could get injured or rested next week when you need him), but it does make sense to do a downgrade this week so that you have some cash to do two upgrades next week.
