Using my last trade this week to trade out broughton, so I can stop fielding Sam Shaw. I can afford anyone under 410k

Current backline: Deledio, Goddard, Birchall, H.Shaw, Carrazzo, Lake, Broughton, [S.Shaw, Baguley]

Main options are: Fisher, Hurn, Dempsey, Michael Johnson, Heppell, Hanley, Suckling

Who do you think & why?

You won't get anyone much better for 410k compared to Sam Shaw

Suckling vs GC this week

Hanley may be an option for you if both Maguire and Drummond are back for Brisbane.  He will be released like he was previously when he was averaging 95.
Johnson has had a couple of low scores in recent weeks but can pull out the 100+ scores.  Depends on what role Lyon has for him each week.
Suckling would be good but with him having the vest last week not sure.  Maybe that was his finals GS rest.!!
Hurn seems to go missing in games against top sides and with West Coast Draw would give a miss.
Fisher do not know what to make of him this year as roles seem to vary. He is averaging 8-+ for his last half dozen games if you deduct his 25 against Brisbane.  Maybe a POD but you also risk a low score.
Heppell and Dempsey a bit inconsistent for mine.

So in order my choices would be
Hanley, Johnson, Suckling, Fisher, Hurn, Heppell, Dempsey. (Hanley if Drummond named)

Yeah great input, I think it has to be between Hanley/Johnson. Both would be POD's against my main competition. Suckling was on my radar, but the green vest scared me, was it a sign that he isn't as favoured at the Hawks, or was it just a bit of a rest? Either way, he has the potential to go huge, or go tiny. Could be a bit of a risk (which i dont mind).

Who knows what is going on with Johnson, has the potential to avg 100+ but who knows where Ross wants to play him, and I can't stand the headaches Ross has given me this year.

Hanley looks like he could be a goer, gets a fair amount of midfield time, as well as playing off HB, but has had a bit of a form slump, fantasy-wise.
