schoenmakers on the rise

I know alot of hawthorn suppoters do not like the idea of schoenmakers instead of Gilham. But the 21 year old is starting to find some good form and is high in comfidence. :)

Yes he is playing very good. I don't mind him at the moment. Been solid.

You can see he's got more confidence in marking contests and has provided some good run recently. Hopefully he and Stratton can continue their development.

Improved out of sight. The influence of Gibson must give him great confidence! The hawks backs work for eachother better then any other back 6 in the comp atm. Great to see Schoenmakers actually given some support from supporters, he's been maligned so far in his career but he looks to of turned the corner! Good luck to him

He has given me some many bad memories (prelim last year!!)

But he has come outta nowhere and he keeps on improving and improving and another pre season he wll be just wow!

For example - when you're the best uncontested disposal team in the comp maybe you should just chip it around for the last minute and win the game.

to be fair, hawkins has 5 cm and 20kg on schoen.

I would be blaming the coach for that match up- it was nearly always going to happen :/
