Saints vs dirty pies: Umpires

seriously.. i mean..if you go to work on Monday and you flower up as bad as the umpires did tonight, you'd be fired.

what's the bet geish or however you spell that shower comes out during the week and says every call tonight was 100% correct.

they should be fired. simple as that.

I generally try to be supportive of umpires as I know it can't be easy to do what they do but...

I've just arrived home after the four hour drive back from the G after watching the game. My Dad, my son and I watched what was generally a thrilling and entertaining game. This was the first live AFL game for my young bloke, 7 years old, Saints mad and has been looking forward to this game, literally for months. For us live footy is a real luxury.

As kids do, he surprised me in how well he accepted the result, but I'm left feeling like that decision robbed him of a perfect first game.

Anyhow. That's life!  ::)
