Can I double substitute DPP trade?

So I brought in Baguley (def/mid) for Hall (fwd) last week by dropping my mid-fwd link (i.e. Adams switched into Halls place and Baguley went into the mids where Adams was). I did this trade with the intention of reactivating my mid-fwd link by trading out Spurr, moving Baguley to the Def, moving Adams to the mid (where Baguley was), and then trading in a forward (where Adams was).

Now I've tried it just then and it doesn't seem to be able to do a double substitute within the one trade to accomplish this. Am I missing something or is it just not possible?

Not possible.
You can only move 1 player on trade.

Who is the fwd you are trading in? If it's a Mid/fwd then it's easy, otherwise your plan isn't gonna work. :(
