Do not under estimate the amount of 'extra' coin that Adelaide tried to persuade Marcos Flores with, but ultimately it looks again as if Melbourne has had the Victory  :'(

Adelaide owners are very incompetent missing out on this guy, they had a gilt-edged chance but they couldn't take it. Needless to say the backlash on social media in Adelaide was huge and the fire between United and Victory has been stoked to another level.

I think its as if Melbourne Victory are trying to become the Chelsea of the A-League, but they certainly are getting the cattle (and the coach)

Maybe its the Adidas kits that lures everybody there, Adidas tend to sponsor the big clubs (Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Collingwood, Essendon)  ::)
