With Buddy only averaging 82 in his last 4 meetings with Geelong I don't think he'll be missed too much, especially with the likes of Zorko and Treloar hanging around in people's forward lines.

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere but a reliable source I follow on facebook/twitter (@JRickard1991) has stated the following regarding Buddy on his facebook information page:

"Hawthorn have ruled out superstar Lance Franklin for the 4th game in a row.  Frankling suffered a hamstring injury against the Blues before aggravating it against the Giants the following week".

He goes on to state that perhaps this injury is a bit more serious than what the Hawks are making it out to be...

That last bit I guess is for you all to form your own opinions on however I'd be very surprised if Buddy is named to play this week after what this guy has posted.  He's rarely wrong...

That seems to be the indication coming from a variety of sources. And with the Hawks having two gimme games against PA and GC coming up the temptation will be to take a cautious approach. I was certainly one that thought he'd be back this week but nevermind, I should have decent cover if one or both Robbo/Sidey return.
