Buddy to a Midfielder...do I need to downgrade?

Is it possible somehow to trade Buddy for say Pendles without an initial trade (or using 2 trades). If assume not but wondering if can be done? Probably won't get rid of buddy as yet but just in case.

Pretty sure you if you have a DPP MIF/FWD in your midfield you can sub him into your forward line and trade Buddy to Pendlebury.

Yep this will work but you lose your DPP link. Sounds like a good trade though...
