Who should i be bringing into this team come finals?

Hey guys, just looking for some opinions on where i should be setting my sights come finals in a couple of weeks in regards to upgrades and downgrades. Heres my team when fully fit:

Backs: Deledio, Goddard, Carrazzo, Scotland, Waters, Suckling, Dempsey (S.Shaw, Spurr)
Mids: Ablett, Pendles, Swan, JPK, Mitchell, Bartel (Gibson, Couch)
Rucks: Nic Nat, Kruezer (Giles, Campbell)
Fwds: Buddy, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Chapman, Pearce, Porplyzia, Zorko (Treloar, Elliot)

I was pretty set on upgrading either Clancee Pearce or Porpoise, but both have found their mojo and are playing great footy and scoring well. Kruezer, Dempsey, and even Bartel are the ones im worried about.

Ive got 4 trades and about 84K.

Cash in Spurr of Shaw and bring in Beams for Porp or Pearce?

Or cash in Giles and do the above as well as Kruezer to premo (e.g. Jacobs)?

Beams is the obvious one forward.

Dempsey is your weak link down back - maybe Birchall?

I would only trade if you have to though.

Hold them for now.

Dempsey is your only real week link. If you do not have to win to make the 8 I would not trade this week. With 4 trades you may be better than most. You have sound bench cover as well.

Im not looking to make any trades this week guys, more looking at who i should target in 2/3 weeks time and who i should be getting rid of.

Should Dempsey be priority number 1? or would i gain more points in getting in a better ruck than Kruezer?

I made the decision last week to hold off from going Bartel to Murphy, pretty peeved about that one to be honest lol.

As I see it you have another week to observe but if it were my team I would be looking at this over the next few weeks.

Dempsey upgrade is the priority as I see it.

Bartel is still averaging close to 100 so not the worst but if you want Murphy would do this week and pocket an extra $44k. He has a low B/e and will rise even further.

Will leave you 3 trades and $125k for upgrades for finals.

no point losing in the first final with 4 trades left. Unless you have a very week opponent I'd be using 2 trades Fri night before 1st final

How exactly do the finals work in supercoach? Is it 1v8, 2v7 and so on, or is it 1v4, 2v3? Will determine when I trade I reckon.

1v4, 2v3, 5v8, 6v7

winner of the top 4 matches get a bye, loser of the top 4 matches play winner of the bottom 4 matches. Winner of those matches play the winners of the top 4 matches.

Ahhk, so I'll be playing my hardest opponent in round 1, need to beat him too for the bantz as he's been talking it up.

Would it be irresponsible trading Dempsey up to someone like Harbrow this round? Has a great average, a great run home, and has scored well in all except his injury game. Can afford it by 4grand and would the be able to bring in beams for porpoise or Pearce In a week or two. That's 3 trades left after the Dempsey trade, and one trade left after the beams trade.

Thoughts??
