ok, i've been going back and forwards on this one for days.. hoping for some advice.. Team is:

BACKS: Lids, Enright, Goddard, Birchall, Carrots, Suckling, Lake (S Shaw, Spurr)
MIDS: Ablett, Pendles, Watson, Selwood, Priddis, Rockliff (T Adams, Gibson)
RUCKS: Cox, Nic Nat (Redden, Big O)
FORWARDS: Franklin, Danger, Goodes, Sidebottom, Cloke, Zorko (Treloar, Smedts)

I have 3 trades left ($36K in the bank). I would like to have more money in the bank going into the last few weeks (e.g. incase Cloke keeps spudding it up, or an LTI occurs and i'm short on getting a suitable replacement).

To do this, i'm wondering if I should trade out T Adams this week for Miles.. This would break my MID/FWD DPP link, but I would have good bench cover with good JS on both lines anyway.. (MID: Gibson, Miles FWD: Treloar, Smedts).

The reason i'm thinking of doing it this week is that i cant see many other rookies on the horizon that will provide the bench cover Miles will (and none that are Mid/FWD DPP!)

Thoughts?

The Bomber

I wouldn't.  Not with 3 trades and it isn't neccessary. The 3 trades are going to be use don injured/rested players during finals not on players who are spudding it up. Just a wasted trade IMO...

Spinking

Yep I'd hold off. Might net a bit of cash but won't give you any extra points and will cost some in the long run if you run out of trades.

devize

I wouldn't. I reckon DPP links are really important at the end of the season. I wouldn't count on Miles' JS and I'd rather play Treloar ahead of any of your other mid/fwd rookies if say a mid got injured.

Blues Blues Blues

Hold mate. As tempting to get Miles before he bursts and free up some cash, save the trades

Cheers for the advice everyone.

Yep, i'm going to hold my trades  :)

agree with holding, but i wouldn't mind getting couch in as well. that way you maximise your cash and still have treloar/gibson covering the mids.

I don't think Couch will play again this year.. I don't want a non playing rookie in case I need to cover multiple outs coming into the final rounds

YES it is required. Just this week I need it to cover for Sidebum. This may force me to trade Gibson prematurely over Adams but I need Adams to play and I need his DPP. Keep ur DPP.

Where is Couch?

In the shrink's office - with a long line of Sc'ers waiting their turn on it.  :(
