Apparently Goodes is set to spend more time up forward from now on. The big question is how is this going to effect his scoring?

Yeah. I saw that today too. Would have been nice if goodesy had come out with this earlier. It'll definitely hurt his scoring. Hopefully Sydney's midfield breaks down and they'll have to play him in there again

Spinking

Doesn't help much. I'd imagine they will still get him to go through the mids, but maybe they are trying to keep him fit and firing for finals.

i'm happy so long as "up fwd" means still getting up around the 50m mark.

Using him as a foil for Reid. Goodes will roll through all positions as required. Mids when a spark is needed or through rotation. Even off the half back running through.

what a stupid article, Goodes has been "spending more time forward" for two years!

MLS

I would surmise that if Goodes spends more time up forward it would probably mean that you will see some lower scores with an element of inconsistent scoring, however I higher ceiling when he kicks a bag of goals.
