at the age of 34 and with 339 games and a premiership next to his name he will clearly be one of the north melbourne greats but it looks like this will be his last season of football

Ziplock

I thought so too, looking at some of his stats, but watching a couple of north games, I think he'll still be around 2013 at least.

Holz

Still getting the number 1 tag each week, which is making him look like he is losing form. Still vital for the roos and having him out there on the field is doing wonders. He will keep playing as long as he is helping the team and he is sure doing that.

Spinking

I think some of the Roos developing kids will benefit from having him around for as long as possible. Is still among the best ball winners at the club so no reason why he couldn't go around again.

if he goes for 1 more season he will play 350 games

roo boys!

He will go for another year, 2 might be pushing it but still a vital cog and he has a unique ability to pull something out of nothing to spark the team. Certainly a massively valuable player. Has hardly slowed down, as Holz said he still gets tagged and sometimes can't cope with that like he did in his prime but more or less the same player as he was a few years back.

NORTH Melbourne great Brent Harvey is poised to play on next year, extending his AFL career into a remarkable 18th season.

The 34-year-old will open talks on a new deal through his manager, Shane Casley, within a fortnight.
