I dont think having 17k left means anything.  Why not spend it all up, because if you have the right mix of keepers and rookies, then the rookies will make you cash and that should be ample for future trades.

My question is your ruck.  Hille is not a safe bet.  I dont see him getting too much time on ground at the start of the year seen as they have Ryder who can take most of the ruck duties, Hille might be used up forward now Gumby is injured again, so I would doubt his ability to rack up decent scores copping the #1 defender.
