Hi folks,

Was pondering a couple of options for my two trades this week.
Here’s the team;

DEF: Deledio, Suckling, Scotland, Broughton, H.Shaw, Lake, S.Shaw (Goddard, Darley)
MID: Ablett, S.Thompson, Boyd, Pendles, J.Selwood, JMac (D.Smith, Gibson)
RUC: Cox, Giles (T.Campbell, J.Staley)
FWD: Sidebottom, Chapman, Roughhead, Harvey, Porps, Treloar, Franklin (Patton, D.Martin)
Trades â€" 6 , Cash - $213K

Could go Treloar->Murdoch, JMac -> Swan Leaves me with approx 90k
or the same but with Goodes in instead of Swan, but with plenty of cash.

Is Swan worth the extra 100k over other Mids like JPK?
Is Goodes demanding to be traded in with his once in a lifetime low price?
Is Murdoch the best of the few for downgades? is McIntyre better?

All opinions appreciated (and cheered!)

Yes for Murdoch, I beleive he has better js than others... Treloar could be an option to keep as back up? And no I dont beleive Swan atm is worth the 100k + extra than others as you mention... options a plenty in the midfield.. Rockliff etc..? Yes Goodes is worth jumping all over as he is in a team that is pushing for top 4 and he will be at his top

You could go Treloar to Goodes and JMAC to Mcintyre
Then next week DSmith to Swan

This leaves you with Porps as a reserve and then you are able to move Chppy or Goodes to the mids for Mcintyre if a prem mid is out

I would go Treloar to Goodes and J Mac to McIntyre if named.

Devon Smith has a low B/e which he should achieve and will rise in value allowing you to upgrade him next week. Leaves you 3 trades and a complete team with good bench cover of Darley, S Shaw; McIntyre (DPP) Gibson; Campbell, Staley (DPP); Patton and Porps. DPP cover will allow you to cover contingincies without trades if need be.

That would leave me about with 585K next week to get the best Mid i can. (assuming prices stay about the same)

Would it be best to get JPK/Sam Mitchell etc or get someone like beams/danger to extend my dpp?

Im fairly tempted to go buddy->Goodes, Jmac->Swan.
my run home is pretty tough, and this could get me over the line.

..or, i could go budd->goodes, giles->mcevoy/jacobs.
i would then have enough left for D.smith->Prem mid less than $550K (depending on price changes)

Keep Buddy.

Get Goodes now and Swan in a week.

Looks good but try and save trades which is why you should keep Buddy.

trouble is, to get goodes and swan , i would need to use more trades, and would probably still come up short cash wise.

Buddy to Goodes, Giles to jacobs gets me through the next few tough weeks which are must win.
it generates enough cash to upgrade d.smith/jmac to a prem midfielder.
Leaves me with 3 trades for the last 6 weeks (finals inclusive), not as many as id like, but id dont think i would be alone.

If i keep buddy and get goodes and a mid, i will have to play giles until the end of the finals.

I think the 25-30ppg from giles to jacobs, plus the extra 40+ ppg from goodes over a rookie would justify it.
