No idea what to do. Would someone please help out?

Defence: Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, Hurn, Lake, Malceski, Clarke (S.Shaw, Darley)

Midfield: Ablett, Swan, Selwood, Thompson, Boyd, Horsely (Mcdonald, Gibson)

Rucks: Naitanui, Giles (Stephenson, Redden)

Forwards Franklin, Beams, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Zaharakis, Martin, Zorko (T.Adams, Treloar)

8 trades left. $9,200 in the bank.

Consider the players i need to get out (Clarke, Eski, Giles), and what to do if they are in/out.
Ive added a ton options to the poll, but feel free to suggest options.

The second last option on the poll invovles a 4 trade plan, but is Howard a genuine d7?

This is the first time I have seen your team in isolation so apologies for all other suggestions.

Feel free to disagree but I think to finalise your team  and with only 8 trades, I can see 1 upgrade required in mids and possibly 2 in backs which may utilise 5/6 of your 8 trades.  You may have to bite the bullet and keep one of Eski or Clarke.

I am assuming you want to bring Pendles in when fit to complete mids.  If you had another mid in mind I would complete that prior to defence as you will be leaking points in mids as most coaches will have mids completed.

I would wait for teams to be named and then look at
If one of McDonald or Horsley not named to Couch (If both named do Horsely to Couch as McDonald will probably achieve his B/e and increase in cash a little further)
Whoever is not named out Clarke and eski to your choice of Suckling, Waters, Scotland or Fisher.

Next week reassess options for Carazzo or if you do not get Fisher this week keep an eye on him as well to bottom out as he may be an alternative to carrots in a couple of weeks.

So many options available but I would be steering clear of Ruck downgrades at the moment to fix defence.   Bear in mind that last week was the first week Giles has dropped below 80 and he was returning from an injury.  Still averaging 90 so I would be keeping him and doing the upgrade closer to finals if sitting comfortably.

Thanks a lot Ringo for your help. My only other midfield option im considering is Watson, so do you reckon its worth just biting the bullet and taking him? Im 2nd in my most important league, and 1st in all the othets, so leaking points isnt too much of a concern for me right now.

If Eski is named, i will definitely keep him. If i get Suckling, who im leaning towards, it will leave me with around 155k to make an upgrade next round. Any ideas for that?
