ok so i have a decent team but my problem is obvious:   marty clarke and jon Giles... i am lost as what to do, i can get hanley and Griffin in for them but that leaves we with 4 trades
or i can leave clarke as my 7th defender and get paddy rider into my rucks leaving me with 5

please i will cheer

i think clarke will lose you more points than giles,
giles ave 80 (should drop to 70) ryder-90 only a 10-20 point difference
if clarke doesnt play this week and doesnt lose money, once carrazzo loses money you may be able to afford him,
Clarke ave 65, and dropping, carrazzo ave 95 a difference of 30 points
I dont think hanley will be worth the upgrade as if you look at his two scores before, 34 and 69 he isnt always going to be pumping out the big ones like the weekend

DT-SC

Valid  points, all.i can hope is that clarke doesnt.play and carrazzo scores 80

T Dog

Perhaps just save your trades DT-SC. Darley or Shaw in for Clarke wont cost you a lot of points..in fact may get you a few more. Then look at Carrazzo the week after?..

knobjob

Clarke to carrazzo next week and keep giles for now.

Then that's a nice rounded team.  I'd be saving any other trades until you need to trade IMO.

Marcos83

Agree with the above, hope clarke does not play and then swap for carrazzo next week.

Leave giles alone I reckon but I would consider mummy. If mummy gets back to his best he would be a bargain and top 3 at years end from now on. Otherwise if clarke plays and you dont trade him then you will need to stick with him for a while becasue his price will be too low to trade.

I had same dilemma. Went mummy > giles and clarke > carrazzo. However I had 12 trades prior to that trade.

danger

clarke to carrots for sure.. thats what i am doing this week.

I would sit on Giles TBH.. save the trade

good luck!

nostradamus

l would sit on both trades for now. But like some of the others said Clarke may be dropped this week and you can get Carrazzo in next week.
lf not dont stress you have a great team, just sit on ur trades and wait...... more players will ripen, and other trades options will open up

makita

im in the same boat, hoping marty isnt named and trading him to carrots next week but if is named then will trade to carrots this week as both will lose about the same money but carrots should score higher. im sticking with giles, he has had a rough few weeks but hopefully will come back to form.

Dave085

As everyone has said mate go Carrazzo for Clarke.
Keep Giles as R2 for now. If you do a trade to Mumford, yeah its going to look good on paper, but if he hurts his back again youre stuffed with 4 trades. Keep Giles as R2 till the finals.

Bak2Form

hard to say anything until we see if clarke is named but as all have said above, clarke to carrots is one of the most popular trades next week. i have 10 trades and keeping giles til finals

Windigo

Think people shouldn't be pulling the trigger on Giles so quickly.

Give him a couple more games to assess. Remember, he was out with an injury and missed a couple of games.

azza707

Brogan back in the side is going to really hurt Giles' scores. However, i think you can afford to hold him until the finals and then upgrade him to give you an edge over your opponent if you have the trades.

As for Clarke then yeah i would be looking to upgrade him to Carrazzo definitely

Zombie2.5

Leave Giles now, its not like he's scored two consecutive sub 50 scores (Clarke). Clarke to Carrazzo is obvious(next week) if Clarke is out this week. Otherwise you probably have to do a upgrade/downgrade to do it this week. Or you could just stick with both and hope they turn out well.
