Yer thats 5 right there, i had mummy and went to Hmac then to Jacobs so i used 3 there. But i've had GAJ, Fyfe, Swan , Scotland, Hmac etc. all injured aswell

Yeah your team is ok. So what, injuries are what have wasted alot of trades this year. I don't think you can include GAJ, Swan, Scotland in that as they were only a few weeks each. Try having, mumford, Sandi, Hmac, Fyfe, Goodes, Murphy, and Howard, plus the other smaller injuries, it adds up quick.

By the way, i had 2 trades left in the prelim last year and still lost, so keep your 8 trades till then. Hard to win the flag from outside the top 4.

Im not saying my team is the best im just pointing out that people blow trades too easily and injuries yes would of affected but i too have had my fair share of injuries, im just pointing out that people need to really conserve their trades more. P.s im ranked 2nd in my league( been lucky)

I had Leuenberger then went to Mcintosh, then went to sandi, now im with jacobs- come on big fella- STAY FIT!!!

This will be my team next week and ill still have 8 trades left, im just saying this out to all those people that say ohh i have 2 trades left but i have a set team with giels and Zorko, so im all set and think nothing will happen i.e Suspensions and injuries.
But seriously this annoys the showers outta me, that is not going to happen and there kidding themselves and IMO i would love them to be in my league because come finals ill be able to smash them.

My tactic has been that of conserving trades and waiting for the primmed rookies and jumping on bottom out premos and i think although atm im not ranked very high, it has been a good tactic as i will be extremely strong for my league finals, which i have focused on. So i'm just posting this to show all those guys out there that traded hard early who have the same side as me with 5+ less trade, suck shower

P.S Giles and maybe Zorko will be out in the future due to my luxury of trades.

Mate you are absolutely kidding yourself if you think your team is complete. You have done well to come this far with this many trades left ill give you that, but you are going to get smashed in the rucks. Brogan is now back for GWS and while he is there i can see Giles averaging probably somewhere around 70. Also I'm a crows fan and I'm not afraid to say that Sauce Jacobs has been in pretty bad form for us as a ruck man, and in terms of DT points is averaging 75 over his last 5 games which is equally as bad considering the expectations he had on him coming into this year.

Jacobs (75) + Giles (70) = 145

compared to my ruck combo in
Cox (100) + Maric (110) = 210.

you're losing 65 points a round on average just in that area. Quit talking yourself up and maybe look into maybe upgrading Giles to begin with or you could be falling behind in that area. If you've got the cash i would do it straight away but if not and you still want good bench cover i would downgrade Morris looking at who you have at the moment. Doesn't have to be this week, but if you wanna stay up in overall and get in before Giles starts leaking some serious cash i would get on it ASAP.

we have a girl in our league that started with mummy - then traded to sandi then when he got injured traded to mcintosh then went back to sandi and now has cox (she is coming 2nd in our league too)

how is that extreme? I've just gone by their averages over the past 5 roughly and tried to look ahead a bit. All I'm saying is that he is sitting better than most with 8 trades and should maybe take advantage of this luxury to bring in a better scoring ruck man to keep his edge over the competition

Point being it aint finished, its solid, but not finished. is that Joel or Scott Selwood? Maric/Cox and Giles is ok, but Jacobs and Giles is not. Zorko is great, and might get played over Dusty while form is good, but long term is a solid bench option to swing between mid and fwd. It doesn't take many downgrade upgrades or injuries to bring our trades in line with everyone else.

Very solid backline though!
