Neither unless you have lots of trades to spare.
Lake is performing well and Giles is going ok for a R2 .
If you have the trades then Giles to Ryder would be the go.

Keep Lake. If you have the trades, upgrade Giles. I will be.

Lake is bordering on keeper - remember DEF are a pretty scratchy bunch.
At this point a prem ruck (Ryder or someone else) is looking safer than Giles and the $$ are better.

Giles to ryder easily. Defenders are inconsistent (except lids, god) and lake is just about a prem back anyway.

Get rid of giles if anything. Lake is proving to score well and as everyone else has said he may even become a keeper
