have $30,600 in the bank

my team is as follows:
back: delids,goddard,Birchall,Waters,broughton,clarke,hargrave(Shaw,Darley)

mid: boyd,selwood,ablett,thompson,swan,stanton(treloar,Robinson)

ruc:Jacobs,Giles(Stanley,Redden)

Fwd:Franklin,Sidebottom,Dangerfield,Martin,Pavlich,chapman,zorko (dickson,porplyzia)


I have 7 trades left.

Weak links i reckon in my team are Giles, Clarke and Hargrave. Want to upgrade those three players and my team will be complete.

I am thinking of downgrading either dickson or porps for a rookie forward like patton. Then with that money who should i upgrade?

What are ur opinions?

Wouldn't go to Patton, but the idea is right. Find a cheap forward to free up some cash, then go Clarke + Hargrave to Carazzo + another premo in the next 2 weeks.

Wait until the teams come out. Darley may be due a rotation (I hope not) Shaw is in doubt with a knee, I doubt broughton will play, not many have this year after severe concussion. Hargrave is no cert & apparently Clarke is in some doubt also. Nice overall, good luck.

Robbo is wasted on your mids bench - move hime fwd and have zorko on bench in mids.  Downgrade trelor so you have more cash to upgrade back / rucks.  keep porp and dickson as cover if needed fwd

Robbo is wasted on your mids bench - move hime fwd and have zorko on bench in mids.  Downgrade trelor so you have more cash to upgrade back / rucks.  keep porp and dickson as cover if needed fwd

The only reason i have robinson there is because i believe zorko will be scoring more than him. do u have any downgrade options in the mids?

Put your faith in Big Robbo.... He will, at one point outscore zorko. Don't worry, Zorks is just on his scoring rampage, sooner or later he'll go back to the 80 average, with the occasional good score. If you want, just keep him there.... but i would trust my premos..

I think Giles trade is more of a luxury trade, or one reserved for LTI. So your first priority is to upgrade Clarke/Hargrave, i don't know if you want to upgrade both or one, but surely one trade has to be to Carrots. If you want Shaw/Scotland/whoever and you can afford them this week(downgrade porps, crozier for cash or patton for JS) then get the premo, if not then get carrots and wait and see what you can do next week. Just trade in Carrots/Shaw/Scotland/premo this week, and another next week if you still can.

in terms of downgrades, i would go:
treloar -> gibson (on the bubble this week)
and later you can go dickson -> couch if needed

then upgrade:
clarke -> carrots
hargrave -> premo defender

if you still have money, then go giles -> maric/cox
