The Great #26

Hey FF,
Just a thread on my completed teams would love to hear any thoughts on my strategy..

The Finalised Team Would Looks Like This:
DEF: Goddard,Birchall, Delidio, Shaw, Heppell, Grimes**, Carrazzo** [Darely, Morris]
MID: Swan**, Penduls, Jelwood, Thompson, Rockliff, Mitchell [Gibson**, Williams]
RUCK: Jacobs, Giles [Redden, Stephenson]
FWD: Franklin, Martin, Robinson, Beams, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Zorko [Pfieffer, Smedts]
Im pretty comfortable with Only 3/4 Trades Left. Only times i would trade is 4/5 + Injury, but then it would depend on the bench cover, and I know i will copping donuts nearer to the end.

This Round im thinking:
Pendulbury/S.Selwood to Swan [Need that Auto-Lock Captain]
Hall to Gibson
and also Hargrave [Sick of Him] to Grimes

Round 14:
Treloar to Carrazzo Using DPP

Bench Covers:
DEF: Morris should play almost every game after his two game rest has been impressive, Darely should play more than not.
MID: Williams not great JS will play over the next few round when needed, Gibson should play a lot, adds a lot to north's mid.
RUCK: Shouldn't need the bench to often, but Redden has been better then Renouf in my eyes,
FWD: Pfieffer has done enough to play when needed, Smedts highly rated prospect at Geelong no doubt will get more time now that Varcoe is gone,

Then team is done as shown above, Happy with Zorko as F7, and Giles as my second ruckmen.

Thooughts? :)

Confused... You have 6 mids including pendles and selwood, but you're trading one of them for swan, who is also in your midfield?
Either way, you're wasting trades going sideways for Swan. Pendles when fit is just as good and he's only 2 weeks away.

Hargraves to Grimes is kind of sideways but reasonable in my opinion.

Decent team without being really amazing  ;D
Hargrave to Grimes is good, hopefully for your sake Grimesy doesnt injure himself.
Although Swanny is a gun and it will hurt you not having him, just not worth a sideways trade from Selwood or Pendles.
Your bench cover is ok:
Darley and Morris are good.
Gibson and Williams are risky as both yet to prove JS. I've already got Gibson as well as Treloar.
Hopefully you don't have to call on Redden or Big O. Maybe try and get another premo ruckman and chuck Giles on bench as great backup but you've only got 3/4 trades left.
Pfeiffer and Smedts is also risky but key injuries to Port will mean Pfieffer stays around for a few weeks atleast. Not sure about Smedts though.
BTW I'm finishing up round 15 with 3 trades. Like you, will not trade unless 4+ week injury as i have Ellis, Treloar/Gibson, Giles and Zorko as good cover.
