I am in the same boat, but had another brilliant idea. I have D. Smith who has maxed out. I traded him, moved Goddard to my midfield and got in Shaw. Next week (or week after) when I upgrade to a backman, I trade out Ellis, move Goddard back and get a Middy.

Can you do the same???

...Do the above if possible. But to answer your more direct question, Shaw should have good JS. He slotted straight back int the Adelaide side when he was fit, and given Adelaide are looking to rest players, young guns like Shaw will get a decent run at the ball whilst senior players take a break...

Thanks but I alread have 6 midfielder keepers

HotTiges

I traded Morris for SShaw for a pure cash grab. Have Darley/Ellis and Shaw to rotate from for a week or two before Ellis is either Carrazzo/Fisher/Birch/Broughton

Yeah but are you targeting any DPP FWD's? Same thing applies, you just have to have a DPP FWD in your forward line as you won't be able to sub via trading. You will have to trade that premium (EG Goodes), into your midfield (complete that trade), and then sub with someone (eg Couch/Zorko etc)...

Just another idea of trying to maximise cash cows...
