To any of you who started with him, or even brought him in early - well bloody done.

I was really considering him this season and decided to not take the risk with him. He has always had the potential to be a 100+ average midfielder, if given the opportunity. He's been given it this season with port and has brilliant.

Surely leading Port's B&F at this stage of the season. Been ultra consistent.

Shame he'll be around the 500k mark next season  :(

+1

And to those who started with Maric, I envy you so, so much. Great job :)

I remember at the start of the season when alex williamson made his beating lockout youtube vid he had Ebert in his team and i thought to my self what kind of idiot would pick Ebert? looks like i'm the idiot now  :P

Nails

I traded him in after rd 4 which gave him an annoying 92 debut in my team...

But yeah I've enjoyed having Ebert. Though the kind of bloke who trades Ebert in early (me) is also the spud who trades in Ward (fmdt), Pearce and WhiteX....

::)

essendon2

did he play terribly or something? 112 DT but only 56 SC??? never seen such a difference!

Ricochet

Dangerfield, Ebert and Maric as the best improvers of the year? (not including rookies)
i guess you could throw Hargs and Lake in there as well

Windigo

Seen a few Port games.

Not the cleanest in terms of disposal.

But a great effort in your first year to be in the top 2 in a lot of stats for the Power.

No that's brett ebert's sc. They always give the same amount to brad for some reason. He actually got a much better 108 sc.

Bit of background on Brad Ebert lads - I am a proud owner since the beginning of the season, by the way :D

Ebert has played for West Coast for a few seasons during which time I did not rate him much. HOWEVER! He always knew how to find the ball, would rack up plenty of 25+ possession games. I used to cringe when he got the ball, and used to verbally encourage him to handball it rather than kick it from my couch (as you do) as generally, a kick would go to an opposition player or out on the full.

I liked his game better when we played him up forward. He has a pretty strong mark and seems more comfortable kicking from a set shot rather than on the run. He kicked a few goals in the mid to latter parts of last season for WCE.

So the reason I picked him was because he was cheap (low $300's I think) and knew going from a midfield of Shuey, Priddis, Rosa, Selwood etc to a midfield of Cassisi (who else does Port have?), he would get a lot of the ball and be one of their leading midfielders. Turned out to be a good pick.

Anyway, thought I'd provide a bit of information on him.

Also, appears he has bulked up a bit from his West Coast days, on a side note :)

Justin Bieber

Shane tuck would of been a great pick-up too.

First game got 47 for a half.

Ave of 97 priced at 350k.

Also worth noting that I did not think he would be a keeper, or perhaps a bench mid at best. Turns out he's my M5 and definitely keeping him.

KoopKicka

Had him since Round 1, probably my DT highlight this year. (:

I have to admit I only selected him at the start of this year to upgrade/downgrade but now... He's a keeper!!!

and I could have gone Pendlebury to Ebert this week as a POD but chose to hold Pendles and save a trade... now I might lose >:O
