Here is my situation. This may well be the greatest bench you have ever seen in your life. Read it and weep  :'(

DEF:  Deledio (VC), Goddard, Birchall, Clarke, Morris, Lake, Darley (Waters, Hargrave)
MID:  Ablett (C), J Selwood, Magner, Thompson, Coniglio, Horsley (Pendlebury, Boyd)
RUC:  Stephenson, Redden (Giles, HMac)
FWD: Franklin, Sidebottom, Beams, Martin, Porplyzia, Smith, Treloar (Dangerfield, Zorko)

13 trades, $85,800 in the bank

Bye / Unselected Players are highlighted in bold.

I'm (luckily) playing the bottom team who also has just 14 players playing this week, so may only need to do one or two trades to get over the line.

My plans were to trade out Porplyzia to Couch and Smith to Johnson/Chappy/Robinson, but now that cannot work unless I premeditate Couch's inclusion. Should I dump Pendlebury? Normally I would carry him but its the byes and can't afford to this week. If I recall correctly, he cracked his tibia of the same leg against STK in 2009 QF (I think), so I reckon he could be out for a while, and they wouldn't want to rush him back. Will drop in price too, so I may have to bite the bullet and trade him to Stanton or somebody; or a MID-FWD DPP to get the link and free up cash. Not ideal but gotta do what you gotta do; 8 donuts is way too many.

Do I bring in Couch in the hope he will get game time soon? What about Hargrave out for Sam Shaw? Or do I go and get Marley Williams in for Horsley? I just feel it is a bit premature to trade out the Horse, and none of those rookies have the greatest JS IMO. Yes they would free up cash but it would mean one less premo for a while.
And I know its unlikely but he may be a late inclusion, as he is out 'rested' but still an EMG ;)

But why should I get Tom Mitchell if he isn't playing? I think trading the Horse may be better than trading Cogs too wouldn't it?

Marley Williams is MID only :\ Jamie Elliot is the FWD. But Horse to Williams gives me $308K, then allows me to go Smith or Porps to Chappy


Here is another option: Two trades this week - Horsley to Mitchell, then Hargrave to Dan Nicholson as a P.O.D?

What are people's thoughts on that one? Uses 2 trades but saves 2 donuts :P

Don't like trading pendles out, but how long is he out for? If it's less than 3 weeks (excluding bye) I would keep him.

Horsley to Williams
Porplyzia to Chapman/Stevie J
Lake to heppell/broughton

So I now have 4 options:

OPTION 1
Horsley -> Williams
Smith or Porps -> Chapman/Johnson/Robbo

OPTION 2
Hargrave -> Nicholson
Horsley -> Sam Mitchell

OPTION 3
Option 1 trades + Pendlebury -> Swan/Stanton/Watson

OPTION 4
Option 1 trades + Coniglio -> Mitchell


What are your thoughts on those?

Hmm option 1 or 4 of those, leanong towards 4 as will give you another premium.
