The deliberations are over and CrowsFan is here to announce the first ever AAP Alliance team!

Welcome everyone. I'm going to explain the set up of the team first and how we want them to play, before announcing the actual players. Finally the captain and vice captain will be revealed.

Firstly in defense we are will be going in to the game with just the 1 tall, and 3 running defenders. Having looked at the EurAsia team we feel this is the best way to play. Out tall will be able to stand with Buddy Franklin, but also has the pace to stick with him, whilst their 3 small forwards in Sidebottom, Dangerfield and Beams will have to be wary of our running defenders otherwise we will be able to set everything up from the back. Basically what I'm saying is I am countering their strong offense with strong offense from the back that they will have to try and defend using the offensive players.

Moving in to the midfield and I feel this is a real strength of the team. Starting with 2 tough as they come hard at it ball winners who will pick up any scraps and get to the bottom of the packs. They will get the ball out to our 2 runners who just run all day and wont stop. The use of the ball by all 4 players is superb and this means the forwards are going to have excellent delivery all game. If any of the players get tired we have 2 carbon copies ready and willing to get on the field sitting on the bench.

Sadly our original first choice ruckman fell down injured last week and so we have had to call in his understudy. Honestly we are not too disappointed about this as he is not a bad replacement in the slightest. Averaging 30 hit outs a game our midfielders are going to be loving his service all day. He will also get around the ground often and may even kick a goal if he goes forward.

Finally to the forward line. EurAsia has named just 1 tall defender, the same as us, however we will be naming more than 1 tall forward to try and take advantage of this. We will in fact be naming 3, yes 3, tall forwards who will be far too strong for the undermanned EurAsia defense. It will be impossible for them to match up on all 3 at the same time and so there will always be one free. Finally the fourth forward will take advantage of anything that comes his way.

So without further ado here is the team!
