I was planning to trade in sexton this week but i had a look at the squad this week and horse is almost a certainty to be back next week, will it be sexton who makes way for him. Looking over the mids this week to me it lokos like sexton will be shakey. Brennan and matera worries me I think they should stay  and toy and tape are backs.

As long as he plays the next two weeks I'm glad.

exactly all i need him is round 11 and 12 and than he can do whatever he wants. Just need to work out he wont be "rested" or dropped next week.

Horse not guaranteed to come back at all. Plenty of other mids that could keep him out.

yeah exactly im not just worried about horse and it points to a possible resting to Gc rookies

I'm in the same situation, keen on this Sexton kid compared to the two Collingwood boys, despite his higher price. You'd have to say his JS and hence possibly his earning potential would be better than those two, but he is still definitely a risk. Hill has been mentioned in another post, and perhaps he could be an option (scoring potential looks very poor though).

Sexton will have to impress to stay in the side.

Depends how he plays really...

after watching DT talk im considering williams or elliot instead now.

Surely Hall will get dropped before Sexton! I don't know much about the kid, but with Gold Coast struggling and McKenzie & Brennan now back in the side, he's surely got a bit of job security about him. When you think about it, a round 13 bye is perfect for Sexton because he can play 5 games, rest, then hopefully stay in the side... Josh Toy is another one who's got very shaky j/s.
