Okay so there is heaps of talk going around lately about not trading in round 11 and you’re just wasting trades. well i currently have cox, giles, Big O and Redden. Obviously Big O and Redden can cover the other two if they are named so i have no donuts in round 11 but....
Giles is now struggling to make cash and Maric isn’t getting any cheaper. Plus Brogan is supposedly coming back into the side after the bye, which will hurt Giles’ scores. Therefore I’m looking at going to trade giles to Big Maric.

Good trade/bad trade??? and will Maric be able to maintain his 100 avg for the year??

yeh that "no trading in rd 11" only really applies to the other lines. With the rucks you can trade and should get Maric in. He's dominating and has no real competition at the tigers.
As long as you think Orren with play RD13 when Maric has a bye, which he should, then you will be fine.

yeah thats what i was thinking. Im pretty certain on going Maric over others. Ryder is a little inconsistent for my liking and Sandy is just too injury prone. Hope Maric can keep up his ridiculous form

I just brought in Gaz, Ebert and Robo. Means I will win the first 2 weeks of byes and cement spot in top 8. So depends on how you want top play it?

smart trade you want the #1 ruckman sooner or later (maric) so why not now to assist with the byes and take advantage of his scoring sooner rather than later

Yeah well by the looks of things, with pendles and scotland going down, i think I've pretty much won my eliminator and cash league game. Im only really trying to predict the future and trade in Maric before he is too expensive and before Giles loses value.

yehh thats what was going through my mind. Hoping this trade will make up some points lost and i can gain some ground with Maric over Giles. Hopefully Maric keeps his good form up and there are no more dreaded ruck injuries :\

yeah its worth it - he will be in the team at some stage and will benefit by the majority still having giles.
