Is Bower a D8 keeper or is Darley the way to go?

I'm looking at the Bower to Darley trade this week to free up the most cost I can for the MBR of hell. He is only sitting on my bench now but if I wait a week or 2 I could possibly miss 20-40k that can be used to upgrade Horsley and Adams when I get my final Mid and Fwd.

well he wont make much more coin, so it comes down to; do you want to keep him for the year or not? if u do well then keep him, and if not trade him :) only a decision you can make really....
.. considering u have him on the bench i would probably lean towards trading him in for darley(whom should have decent JS)

It does come down to JS I guess as Bower has played them all this year I think and averaging 70ish. Will Darley have that JS I require from a dedicated DEF emergency?

Nobody can really know his JS, but he has looked decent so far, so surely Sheeds will see that and he should get a good amount of playing time.

darley should play more often than not, but GWS rookies(sheedy and all) theres no certainty.. bower has missed 1 round already and was gunna miss last week(he was named EMG.) but got the call up last minute,,
i have bower on the ground, so for me im keeping him for the time being,, but since u are benching him, maybe its time to move on..

Coming from a Carlton fan. Bower doesn't have that good job security. His only getting a game at the moment as players like Duigan Laidler and Henderson are missing. He isn't in our best 22. Basically what i'm saying is don't rely on him for bench cover because when players start to return he will be first one out. His decision making is poor at best.
