That's a real blow, I actually enjoy having Lindsay in the side as much as everyone bags his kicking he's an important player due to his pressure, and it was going to be his 100th!

Just got back, nice win :) Great first half, dropped off after that but set the game up early and despite Brisbane getting a few in a row it was never under a huge amount of danger after the start we had.

Goldy killed it, but very very impressed with my man Kieran Harper! Many good performances all around the ground, just hope Ziebs is OK :-\

Something that really pissed me off at the game was Matt Maguire holding people down after getting rid of it. It happened on the wing right in front of me with Petrie, they were both on the ground after a contest and the ball had gone to the other side of the ground and Maguire pinned Petrie down to the ground and wouldn't allow him up for a good 30 seconds, impeding him from getting to the next contest! No free kick, and there was an umpire right near by as well! Later in the game, in our forward 50 someone got the ball out (might have been Wright?) and Harper kicked a great goal from the boundary but before that Maguire held whoever it was that got it out to Harper down to the ground and wouldn't let them go until some North boys got over and pulled him off...dirty tactics, and no free kick! Anyone else notice this? Only people at the game would have seen it, TV cameras would have followed the ball.

Well done Roo Boys - Goldy and Petrie seem to play better without H. Mac. Your thoughts on Zorko though. Did not appear to do a lot but still got 83 SC points.

Can not comment on Maguire because as you say not picked up on TV.  Thought there were quite a few umpiring decisions that could be queried but went both ways.  Can never really work out holding the ball consistencies and this goes both ways so not a rant from me against Roos. On one occassion a Roo had the ball ducked his head for protection and got a holding the ball decision against him. A few other times players from both sides were tackled went through a 360 turn but no penalty. Just frustrates me week in week out 1st occasion really no opportunityto get rid of yet penalty and the 360 plenty of time but no penalty.

Yep the holding the ball is a real grey area, you might see 3 identical incidents and 2 are not payed and one is, hard to tell what's going through the umpires mind sometimes especially when the ball is on the bottom of the pack.

The HMac thing is an interesting one, like you said so far this year Goldy and Petrie have done really well the weeks HMac hasn't been there, but when HMac is there he dominates and the other two are quieter. I hope we persist with the three of them in the one team, because they are all too good players to be playing VFL, just need to get the chemistry right.

To be completely honest, the only time I noticed Zorko was when he kicked a goal, he's in my SC team so I was looking for him and just struggled to see him. I didn't know his number though, so that would play a part. FF reckons he got most of his points in the junk time so his DT is even higher than his SC. Whereas someone like Ash McGrath you notice him when he gets the ball because he usually does something good or at least flashy with it.
