to upgrade or to cash in...

first year SC here....

preparing to make a few trades at the moment in prep for the bye rounds and i'm double guessing myself whether i upgrade now (eg kennedy to johnson or beams) or do i trade in a couple of cash cows and bank the money and do my upgrade trades come the bye rounds.

the last thing i want to do is trade in someone like Johno or Beams in now and then find for some reason (injury or suspension) that they are not even playing come the multi-bye rounds, and there's basically 2 trades wasted and i cop an extra donut in the process.

with no new guys on the bubble majorly screaming..."pick me , pick me" it doens't amke the decision easy either way.

what are peoples thouhgt on this in regards to their own situation at the moment?

At this stage of the season you should be looking to upgrade some of your cashed out rookies to prems. So upgrade at the moment if you plenty of cash if not do the downgrade/upgrade trade. Trading should always be to improve team.
