I'd sell my integrity for 1.2 million dollars.

I'd be available for a bit less   ;)
It comes down to why you play the sport and what you want from your career, either you want lots of money because you're a flog or you want to be successful. In the AFL success is measured by premierships. Jenkins may never have a chance to win a flag at a rebuilding Brisbane so it comes down to how much he loves his teammates and club or, does he simply like just a few more dollars each year?
He wont win a premiership at Brisbane or the Crows...

Gunston however
Discussing this with some members today and we are of the opinion that Jenkins will not be the right fit for Brisbane. He is 27 years of age and we feel that Brisbane need a key forward in the 23 - 26 year age group to bring Schache and freeman on and move forward with the club as we move up the ladder in 2/3 years time. Gunston or Darling fit perfectly.
Have you guys considered Liam Jones?  :P

Gunston wont win a Premiership at Adelaide or Brisbane either so it's a pretty stupid comment, possibly the stupidest comment of the year! :o

I don't really like how you think JJ will get injured before this years GF either. that's just  not very nice man :-\

Jerker can play, but he is only as good as he is because he has Tex, Lynch, Gov, Betts and Cameron with him

If he went to a bottom 8 side and was the number 1 forward he would be nowhere near as good

Worth 450-500k tops, but will get paid overs for sure

I'd bet that JJ does little tonight, never shows up in the shower. Incredibly wrong player for Brisbane to target at that money. Jon Patton is the player they should look at ;)

We're not that bad.

Last I hear we're bringing Fevola out of retirement  :P

JJ is good mates with Michael Hurley and Hurley has been spending a fair bit of time travelling to Adelaide watching Crows games.

A consequence of re-signing Jenkins is that he is doing all he can to sell Adelaide to Hurley as an option.
