at a glance too much cash in the midfield and not enough in the forward line, i wouldnt be banking on lobbe, gumbleton and rusling to be playing 20+games

need to find a rookie midfielder and move the cash into forward line,

Midfield is brillant, and backline should do okay. Foward line is really weak and would risk a lot of 0's early on. Rucks are also weak. You need to take money out of the midfield and look at trading in someone like a Palmer or M McVeigh who are both quailty players priced under 400,000.

I think with all the good rookie midfield options you shouldn't be loading up the midfield premiums like that from the start.

It will seem great as an idea before you start but you'll be regretting it by round 7 when other coaches are cashing in cows and you are stuck with that forward line with stalled prices and nowhere to go.

Give yourself some trading space in the mids for upgrades later on.
