Trade 1: Shiel to Horsley, which leaves me with $336,600 cash

Trade 2 options:
FWDS: Cameron to one of Beams, Chappy, Stevie J (leaving approx 30k cash)
BACKS: Darley to Heppell (leaving approx 2k cash)
MIDS: Goodes to either Pendles, Swan or Ablett (leaving approx 185k cash)

Current FWDS: Franklin, Robinson, Sidebottom, Martin, Porplyzia, D.Smith, Treloar (Cameron, Hall)
Current BACKS: Goddard, Deledio, Waters, Birchall, Bugg, Clarke, Ellis (Smedts, Darley)
Current MIDS: Boyd, Mitchell, Selwood, Thompson, Magner, Macdonald (Goodes, Shiel)

Thoughts/Comments?

I'd focus on either Midfield-line or Forward-lines since your Back-line has a full 7 on-field, then all you have to decide is do you want to trade a Premium in Goodes with a side-ways trade, or use it to upgrade someone like Cameron into a premium, personally I'd go Cameron to a Premo

My initial thought for trades this week is:

Shiel to Horsley & Cameron to Beams

I still keep Goodes, which still keeps my DPP link alive.

Then when the time is right to trade him out, I will contemplate at the time whether a downgrade/upgrade or sideways trade is the right choice.

Why not a double downgrade?

Shiel -> Horse
Goodes -> Adams

Then double upgrade next week as your rooks are only going to go up in cash?

Heppell is looking like a top 5 backmen so i think get him in for the virtually useless smedts, or darley if you need to oust some rd 11 players.

Heppell is looking like a top 5 backmen so i think get him in for the virtually useless smedts, or darley if you need to oust some rd 11 players.

You could do both next week couldn't you?

I reckon you need at least one of Swan/Ablett'
but since you have Horsley + McDonald playing, you should be fine.

A double downgrade this week
Shiel to Horse
and
Goodes to Adams.

Then next week
Cameron/Smith - Beams
and
Darley/Smedts - Heppell.
And that'd be a really good team  8)
