OK this week I am trading James Magner down to Kyal Horsely as I have Greene, Jmac and Shiel as my other rookies who all have lower breakevens. Now with Goodes being injured my idea is to trade down him to Taylor Adams which would give me $480k in the bank and use that next week to upgrade rookies.

My Mids and Fwds this week with my trades out in red and the ins in green.

Mid - Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Mitchell, Greene, Jmac, Horsely, Shiel - Murphy
Fwd - Robbo, Sidey, Buddy, Dusty, Devon Smith, Adams, Kennedy, Milera, Hall - Beams

Is this feasible or am I trying to be too tricky? My main goal is to win my league this year and I'm predicted to win by ~50 points with this setup anyway. Any advice would be super.

Your trade plans would also depend on your league ranking as well as your opposition. If you're ranked very well in your league and your opposition isn't strong then trading down would Goodes would give you more cash to upgrade in the future (if you're far better then your opposition, not trading Goodes would also be an option). However if you're still not completely confident in making the finals, you should probably trade Goodes to another premium like Beams. Just remember that trades are incredibly important if you're trying to win your league.

I would probably do the following trades:
Magner >> Horsley
Goodes >> Beams

Next week:
Devon Smith >> Zaharakis
