HAWTHORN
http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/4742/newsid/135090/default.aspx
"CLINTON Young and Broc McCauley sent Hawthorn selectors a timely reminder of their talents, starring in Box Hill's 36-point win over Frankston on Saturday. "
Tom Schneider: Clearly in the Hawk's best three players. His work in the clinches was second to none and could be just what Hawthorn's midfield is after if he can earn a rookie upgrade.
Clinton Young: Admitted after the game his form was down when he played for Hawthorn last month, but if he can continue Saturday's form Young should be in line for a senior recall.
Kyle Cheney: Has looked a class above in every game this year for Box Hill. Gathered 22 touches across half-back, but was rarely beaten in the air and on the ground.
Brad Hill: Posed a constant threat in the front half of the ground, finishing with 21 disposals.
Cameron Bruce: Bruce's experience continues to show through at VFL level. His sure handling was important in the wet.
Tom Murphy: Another solid performance from Murphy, who must be close to an opportunity with Hawthorn. Copped what appeared to be a heavy knock, but soldiered on to win the footy 17 times.
Chance Bateman: Had the football just 16 times, but did not miss a target by hand or foot. His ability to be precise on a difficult day for pinpointing targets was a feature.
Broc McCauley: Hawthorn appear to have found a gem with McCauley as a second or third ruckman on their list. He was the dominant big man on the ground with 34 hitouts and three goals.

MELBOURNE
http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/135193/default.aspx
Jamie Bennell: Jamie was really good off half-back. He rebounded well and won his one on ones. He’s been in good form in the past few weeks.
Sam Blease: Sam increased his work rate and was very good offensively, providing great run and carry. He’s starting to develop some consistency.
Lucas Cook: It was Cook’s first VFL senior game after coming back from injury. He kicked two goals and marked strongly and presented well in the second half. Lucas will get better with more game time.
Tom Couch: Couch was again really strong around the stoppages and contested situations. He’s still looking to develop areas of his game to get him to AFL level. Tom’s been consistently in the best players and his work ethic has been fantastic.
Jack Fitzpatrick: Jack got reward for his consistent form. He’s been around the mark, but hasn’t been able to put the score on the board in the past few weeks. He took nine marks and led up really well as a tall forward and ruckman. Again, he’s another who has been in really good form. He’s growing in confidence each week.
Jack Watts: Jack kicked four goals. He was offensively very good and he worked on developing his contested aerial work.
Jai Sheahan: Jai played as a tall defender. He had some really good contested aerial work, so he showed great improvement there. His ball use out of defensive 50 was a highlight and he gave great run and drive from behind the footy. He’s starting to really develop some strength and confidence in his body.

NORTH MELBOURNE
North Ballarat had a bye

PORT ADELAIDE
Port doesn't do a player report until later in the week, so again don't have much on them. And not sure where each of their SANFL players play.
http://www.portmagpies.com.au/news.php?news_id=831
Goals: Summerton 3, Thurgood 2, Broomhead, Ebert, A Cockshell, D Cockshell, Young, Clayton
Best: Kulikowski, Clayton, Summerton, Brain, Raikiwasa, Broomhead

RICHMOND
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/6301/newsid/135235/default.aspx
Jeromey Webberley Has been ultra-consistent over the first few rounds of the season and constantly knocking on the door for an AFL game.  That said, he didn’t have quite the same impact as he had in recent weeks, despite collecting 25 possessions.
Addam Maric Was beaten by his opponent and, as a result, struggled to have an influence on the game.  Is such as good user of the ball and his ability to find space makes him an important player for Coburg.  He is working hard on improving the defensive side of his game, so it was good to see him record several tackles.
Tom Derricx Had a mixed day.  Took five really good marks in the wet, but wasn’t able to get into the game once the ball hit the ground.  Spent some time in the ruck and is developing in this role

"Mitch Morton ran rampant throughout the game, nailing an incredible ten goals to outscore the entire Students team singlehandedly."
"Tony Armstrong put his hand up again for senior selection with a best-on-ground performance, while Tommy Walsh and Mike Pyke pushed their credentials further with a combined seven goals."

WEST COAST
http://www.westcoasteagles.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7155/newsid/135166/default.aspx
Andrew Strijk and Koby Stevens have thrust their hands strongly into the air should the match committee be looking at making any changes for Saturday night’s show-down with Essendon at Etihad Stadium.
[on Strijk] He had 19 kicks, two handballs, four marks and six tackles to be one of the leading lights for the Falcons and his versatility might have some appeal with the match committee.
[on Stevens] He amassed 26 possessions and took seven marks to help propel his team to an important victory.
Ryan Neates did his prospects of a senior debut no harm, should the match review panel’s decision to suspend small forward Ashton Hams for two games stand. Neates kicked three goals in a lively performance for Claremont, continuing a strong run of form.
Tiger teammates Tom Swift and Lewis Stevenson also offered solid performances. Stevenson, impeccably skilled, had 17 touches deep in defence, while Swift again accumulated the ball with 25 disposals and four marks.
Gerrick Weedon was used at both ends of the ground and picked up 15 disposals

Didn't take long to fall through the pages :(

Flame

Interesting reading ricochet! Great work!

Mr.Craig

I'll bump it for you Rico. ;)

I'm keeping my eye on Hawksley and Baguley. Would love for them to get a gig (Bags still needs to be upgraded though doesn't he...?)

Would Box Hill be 15th on the AFL ladder if they were in the competition? Maybe, but I'm biased. :)

Scrads

Yeah very handy, thanks alot Rico :)

Hoping Baguley gets a chance. Really rate him hey

BC2010

If Sanderson chooses to keep the same structure, look out for Jenkins to debut in place of McKernan.

mpollock

Tom Schneider is going to be jem if he can get promoted and break into the hawks midfield!!
Maybe one for next season in SC/DT.

Hoping Luke Brown (Adelaide) gets a run for the crows soon, though it's looking more unlikely with the way te crows are playing.
