Ok this my not be the most interesting, however i want to know wether he is worth the quid at his price or stay away from him like a busted down Daewoo Cielio.

I admit he is awefully tempting at just under $300,000 however he has missed 2 years of AFL to play Gaelic and in his final year before he went home his shoulder and hammy/knee was as rooted as toy who had been through WW3 with a 10year old. Not to mention his age could prove to be a deterent.

Now i know its harsh to look at his age (i mean c'mon look at players like Crawf and Hirdy) to know that even with their age they still played descent footy. but with SC its about the scores they can produce and how well they go in week in and out.

Any suggestion on wether to pick him up or if not, who would be a better choice around his price

Many will pick him up - it's a risk, but one many ppl are happy to take.

Why? He's fit, he's a proven scorer, he's not coming off an injury, he hasn't been traded to a different club. There's no precedent for the way Tadgh has left and come back. That's both the risk, and the opportunity.

As everyone's saying, watch what happens in the NAB cup.

I agree with Prospector, there's no reason not to have him if he makes it through the NAB in one piece.  He's fit, healthy, keen as mustard and an automatic selection.  I personally believe that he and Ladson are the two gifts we've been handed this year.

Only concern is whether or not his price recieves the discount.
