Free Agents for 2013 Season

The AFL has released the list of players that are available for free agency for the 2013 season, both restricted and unrestricted.

Geelong, St. Kilda and West Coast top this list with 7 unrestricted free agents, closely followed by Essendon and Hawthorn each with 6.

In your opinion, will we see many players use the free agency to move to new clubs? Or will it be a giant fizzle?

I really like how delisted players can go wherever they want, that seems fair (although it could lead to collusion, but meh, unlikely)

Is this more clubs convincing players to move to them? Or players that might be disgruntled/homesick/unhappy to move to clubs that suit them better?

From Sydney, there's almost no way Jude Bolton would move. Jared Moore would probably want to though. He gets very few oppurtunities for a reasonable skill level

Note: I managed to figure it out but what's the difference between unrestricted and restricted?

The one that screams to me for Sydney is Travis Cloke. He'd have to accept less if he wanted to stay at collingwood wouldn't he?

Rules are on the AFL website somewhere, but basically, if you've been on a club's list for 8 years and are out of contract, you can choose to go wherever you want.

And Essendon offered Travis Cloke twice as much as Collingwood the other year, and he stayed. Ain't going anywhere.

I think GWS have spent the majority of their money on Scully, Ward and Folau. I don't think they'll be as big as we expect.

you need to play with a club for a certain amount of years to be a free agent- 6 for restricted, 10 for unrestricted I think ?
