I say it puts a sour taste in some of the great comebacks in cricket. One that i remember from recently was Aus vs Pakistan @ SCG. Where Punter batted first on the stickiest wicket, then were 200 behind after the 1st innings. And teh rest is history, until we realise that it was fixed. :(

Reckon 311 is a decent-ish first innings score, at worst is par IMO.

I can't believe the Australian bowling attack - Hilfenhaus, Pattinson, Lyon, Beer.

If you had said that 2 years ago... you would have got locked up in the loony bin. Wow starting the innings with a beer, how Australian is that! Cant wait for Pattison and Hilfi to grab that cherry tonight to knock that shine off the ball for Beer and Lyon

Wade made his maiden test ton, in a 100 run partnership with Hilfy, who also batted well.. absolute pleasure to watch Wade though, he was just about the only batsman who looked comfortable playing Shillingford (6/119) almost adopting the Matty Hayden method of sweeping the spinner to get out of trouble and score runs, absolute joy to watch.

Starc was also looking pretty good, until he was run out because he was REALLY LAZY and didn't ground his bat at the keepers end...

not a bad effort though.. 328 looks to be a pretty good score
