For the second time this year Essendon has been forced to make a emergency return landing to Queensland after a fuel leak on their plane. After a gruelling hard fought victory against the Suns this is the last thing the bombers need interrupting their recovery and could be 1 day behind their training/preparation towards the Carlton game on Saturday night.

Also this may be a reason to rest Courtney Dempsey and others who have niggling injuries as they miss out on that extra day of a recovery session.
