Did I make the right decision?

Swapped Couch into my forward line for Fyfe and got Murphy. I now have 5 premium midfielders and 3 forward rookies starting, being D.Smith, Kennedy and Hall (soon to be Treloar).

Should I have gotten a forward for Fyfe?

It's fine Murphy will outscore any forward you would have gotten and you haven't lost any cows for it so all good
