Oldmac is a proven performer and looked good against sydney. I think he will be very reliable. Magner 2/3 tons 250+ points @ a 80+ average, his scoring as good as a few premo selections, Definately start him. Shiel getting better each week, C.Smith 0/3 tons. Think that makes your selection pretty easy.

I'm still a bit wary about McDonald. He was good in his prime, but that's going back a couple of years ago now. He had a good game in round 1, but no doubt the Giants' plan will be to develop their youngsters with their golden oldies playing as uninfluential a role as feasible. Shiel's gotten better every game and scored pretty well last week in a decimated side. I think he'll really start to shine now.

Magma is definitely one of your picks, he's just a gun and one off game(Barlow had one too) doesn't mean he'll stink it up for the rest of the year. C.Smith has been okay but subbed twice and sometimes he just doesn't do well at all.

Flip a coin between Shiel and McDonald, but I'm still not sure on Old Mac and Shiel is a gun, plus he's always improving so i would go with him. Still, you could pick either really.

think most voted Magner + McDonald with a few going McDonald/Shiel or just Shiel too ^^^.

I'm far from convinced with Mcdonald. Cornes as been the only GWS to back up good scores after the Sydney game (and Ward but he's irrelevant).

Kennedy, Bugg, Smith etc. have slipped after good starts against Sydney.

Magner is obviously the must. Smith looks to be vest material. Hard choice
