Good team mate. I definitly like your ruck and theres no real problem with your premium picks but I would have reservations about picking so many 2010 draftees before seeing some in action during the NAB cup. Im also unsure about Murphy picking up the hard tag in Judd's absence but I could be proved wrong.

Agree with 12 Rookies you will need a few of them to be keepers! You wont have the trades to upgrade all of them as well as upgrading mid pricers, injuries or struggling premiums.

Swanny was my rock last year but I recon he is a bit pricey now, you need to find this years Swanny.

The Krack and Watts are not for me either!

Great team but as the others said a bit risky playing so many rookies on field. They are great rookies you chose but they are still rookies.

One idea is downgrade one of your ruckman and a forward to get some cash. This could maybe help you upgrade some of the rookies to mid pricers and leave some money left in the bank.

Can't beat a bloody tag mate.

blueyman229,

Good side. Defence is solid though I wouldn't have Krakouer he tends to go missing abit.
Mids are solid and I like the rookies you have there.
Rucks are good Mitch Clarke be interesting to see how he goes and if he dominates like he did this season? With Charman and Luen coming back in, may limit his time around the ball most likely he will have to go forward more.
Forwards pretty good though a few young tall forwards in with Watts, Gumby and Black could be risky having them all in your side, maybe you could swap one with a smaller forward who may get some midfield time could be better option.

thnx for the ideas every1! any thoughts on downgrading swan to cotching and upgrading a rookie and Mrriosman the reson why I picked Murphy is is becuase he has never gon below 75 since he debuted and I am a Blues man ;)

I think Murphy will cop the primary tag in the early few games of the season while Judd is out (either him or Gibbs), so be prepared for potential low scores in the first few rounds.

gday i agree with hellopplz here - u gotta downgrade some of those top range prems for some nicer priced prems - maybe okeefe to higgins?? or start with a cheaper 2nd ruck?? yea then upgrade some of those rookies for a punt on some midpricers.. mate the rest of the population is feeling kennelly/hunt/ladson/waters??/smith/  in their backline. all cheap price- so drop krakouer and hill for some of those atleast- u will prob even save money by doin it... agree with wat has been said about swanny - gun and all but bloody expensive - if u shuffle around a bit u should find a lazy spare 70k or so and swap him for Gary Ablet Junior(GAJ) - he is expensive but far too difficult to trade in during season if thats wat ur thinking - u get 30 free trades at start - use one of them for gazza!!!

Torress

might as well move cunnington into FWD line as well - switch him for watts and just place a 94k mid in there for now - gonna have to wait for who to pick at that price range when season gets closer...
yea i agree with everyone - don't have ur bench filled with 170k players - too much u need cheap rookies there (94k range) - saving urself a precious 140k or so - cud upgrade one or two players there atleast with that spare change..even just put in jetta from sydney at 105k or something 4 now - i'd drop mitch clarke - 2 ruckmen coming back - wait and see how things pan out there and what his role will be - very good player but they won't need him as much this season - slide a david hille in or even robbie warnock to free up cash - keep sandi he is a gun

I agree with most of the posters.  Krakouer started well last year & then dropped of the face of the earth.  Better value to be had elsewhere.  1/3 of your midfield is rookies, which is far too risky - especially without GAJ to make captain each week.  Mitch Clarke was great with Charman and the Berger injured - but may struggle to maintain his premium price now they are sharing ruck duties.

Dees for the Draft

You seem to have a lot of players that were great last year, and their prices reflect that this year.  There are better options available this year.

I expect that the following players will be cheaper during the year:

Enright, Krakoeur, Swan, Clarke, Sandilands, ROK, Riewodlt

No guarantees as to how many matches Black will play, Gumbleton is an injury risk, but could be worth having on the bench, Brown's role in unknown with Fev in the team.
