Check out this team. Trying something different this year and only picking underpriced players that I'm 100% sure will increase in value. I would anticipate that a number of these mid-priced players will become keepers, the others will be up-graded to the best available.

$300K + in the bank. Way too early to lock in rookies, so don't look in to this too much.

I estimate that this team should score around 1850 which is obviously off the mark but there should be no dead wood in the team or players that cost a mint and decrease in value.

I might start slowly but with $300K in the bank, and a team that should make a heap of money, I can pick any player in the comp at any time. Should start getting consistently large scores pretty early on.

Im going with the same theory, too early to put side together because real improvers will show in the NAB. I like the theory though and this years draft cannot be as good as last yrs

Looks realy good. I just think you need a couple of consistent captain options or at least one. Out of that team I would only trust Pendles with the captaincy but not every week.

Tactics like this depend on what your overall goal is.  If you want to win your league premierships this is a great way to do it.  If you want to win the cars or cash you'll probably fall behind too far early and not be able to make up enough ground when you finally get your best team on the ground.  I may be wrong, tell me if I am.

It also depends on what you want your end team to be, it's great to make money but you also have to trade most of these players by seasons end to pick up the true guns of the DT comp.

There is no way I would trust Lobbe as my first ruck. If you want value grab Tippet.
