New trading rule to help me get Greene

I've got a MID/FOR in the midfield so I could utilise the new trading rule this season. I'm planning to sell Hall or Dickson, move that MID/FOR (Smith, for example) into the forward line (as my last playing forward), then bring in Toby Greene (joins Shiel on my mids bench). Thought I would share this as many are thinking of bringing in Greene and/or ditching Hall or Dickson. Milera seemed a good option but this is definately the best possible trade, if you can do it...

Yep go for it, sounds good, but make sure to play Greene on the field before lockout.

Why is Greene a better choice than Milera?

+1 excactly what i would like to know! the only 2 reasons ive heard so far is
1. he's played against port & gc which is easy dt wise
well you can only play who your put up against, if he didnt score well i would be worried but he did so whats the problem!
2. he has no JS due to schneider being injured and saad fighting for his spot also
Which GWS rookie has JS! we know for a fact greene will be rested......

im doung the exact same think, dont need smith in the middle and im happy starting greene and couch in the mids

Scoring 25+ more a game thus far and as mentioned Milera's job security is questionable.

I think GWS rookies who are finding the ball at the moment will stay in the team.

I agree. Sometimes its harder to play better against shower teams. If that makes sense. You need the drive you get from a challenge.
Also Milera is a SANFL hardened mature age recruit. There were a couple of them around last year doing pretty well.
Do a youtube search for him and you'll find plenty of 'mark of the day' and 'goal of the day' from last season in the SANFL... against men!
And yes, the only consistent scorers for GWS will be the experienced players recruited from other sides. All the 18 & 19 y/o rookies should be up and down and rested.
