I'm in the exact same situation. Smith the obvious choice but as you said pretty likely to be subbed. I'm still thinking Smith but really is a tough one.

As for Smith v. Shiel, really struggling with this one... Damn JMac for getting rubbed out!!! Very, very worried that Smith will have the green vest, come on last in the 3rd quarter & score 30-40 points, whereas Shiel should be better for having a couple of games under his belt now (reserves game, then Rd.1 v. Swans) & could put together a stronger game & score in the 60-70 range - which would obviously be preferable!

Not sure what I'm going to do, but I'll say this: I wish to high heaven that the subs were named when the teams were named! It would make our lives as fantasy coaches so much easier!!! (It's all about us after all!  :P)

Did Shiel also go for another Reserves run around last week after their round 1 match the week before? Reserves, then Rd 1 (sub) plus another reserves game... Could be a goer for me.

Did he?? I didn't know that he'd played another reserves match after Rd.1... Does anyone have any of his stats for that game?
